USO Camp Pendleton staff and volunteers helped spread Christmas cheer with events held across the holiday period.
Craft for the month of December was ornament making, with many attending to get crafty and enjoy the hospitality and holiday goodies provided by Starbucks.
Santa’s Little Helper was also a big hit, with kiddos from across Camp Pendleton attending to get in the Santa spirit. Kids were able to choose a free gift for Mom and Dad and have their gift wrapped before enjoying hot chocolate, photos with Santa and ornament making.
Meanwhile, thousands of cookies were “dropped” across Camp Pendleton. Thanks to San Luis Rey Bakery & Restaurant and the baking efforts of USO Camp Pendleton staff and volunteers, more than 2500 Marines and Sailors on duty and in the barracks on Christmas Eve were blessed with some holiday cheer.
Staff and volunteers also attended many holiday parties, providing a photo booth, snacks and other activities for families and Marines.
