There’s nothing better on a summer night than kicking back and watching a movie outdoors.
Thanks to USO Camp Pendleton, that was exactly what happened for a group of Navy Corpsmen recently.
USO Camp Pendleton programs manager Tracy Genica said the Navy Corpsmen were located in a remote part of Camp Pendleton.
“They are out by the old hospital and there is no galley out there, there are no shops and there is no gym really for them to use,” she said.
“They get bussed in and out of work at the new hospital.”
Thanks to a call from the SMP rep, USO Camp Pendleton were able to step in and provide some entertainment.
“We did an outdoor movie night and showed Deadpool 2 - those guys loved it!”
