USO Camp Pendleton came to the rescue for hundreds of kids at two recent Easter events.
Staff from the new USO Camp Pendleton Center were on hand to help the kids make Easter Bunny Bags for the big Easter Egg hunts at events held by 1st Marine Logistics Group and Marine Air Group 39.
USO Camp Pendleton Center Director, Ann Jarvis, said staff and volunteers helped more than 300 kids make little bunny bags at the 1st MLG event at Lake O’Neill, while 150 kids got busy with Easter bunny bag craft at the MAG-39 event held at the Rancho Santa Margarita Ranch House on Camp Pendleton.
The two unit events were supported by the USO which is opening a center on Camp Pendleton this summer.
Mrs. Jarvis said staff enjoyed supporting the two events, which were the first big enhancement opportunities for the USO at Camp Pendleton.
